There is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

While the above statement may be technically true, one’s individual awareness, perception, and expression creates nuance and expansion, making the mundane appear new. If we allow ourselves to take notice of things small and large - high and low - we may notice things like the resiliency of the grass we crush as we walk through it, the scent of decay as summer gives away the last of its heat to fall, the skies above us that make one believe in the truth of The Truman Show.
