I’ll be a participating vendor at the juried Old Kinderhook Fair, in the Village of Kinderhook, next Saturday, June 1, 2019.
Along with a selection of original paintings (some framed and some unframed), I’ll also be selling blank notecard sets containing images of some of my paintings.
Last year’s Olde Kinderhook Fair was my first time having a booth (ever). The weights to hold down my tent had not arrived in time to be of use and the winds were a little crazy - my daughter and I had to hold the tent down several times throughout the day. When we unpacked the EZ Up, the cover had shredded and couldn’t be used. Being the resourceful pair we are, we created a makeshift canopy with a tarp! The winds knocked over several paintings, one of which shattered. I was lucky enough to be able to get a new piece of glass delivered to my booth. It was indeed a learning experience!
Saturday’s event will be my third outdoor Fair and I’m hoping for sunny skies, a small breeze, and seeing / meeting many visitors to the Fair. I hope to see you there!
